Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-09-24 · Last updated: 2026-10-21

This policy explains how Geekdojo, the publisher of Human System, handles consumer health data under state consumer health data laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law (see State-specific information). It applies to the Human System app for Windows, distributed through the Microsoft Store; the Human System app for iPhone and iPad, distributed through Apple’s App Store, including that same app running on an Apple silicon Mac; and the website hsys.me. Our general Privacy Policy covers the same apps in more detail, including where Windows and Apple devices differ.

The short answer

Geekdojo does not collect, receive, store, share or sell your consumer health data.

Human System is software that runs on your own device: a Windows computer, an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac. The health information you put into it stays in an encrypted database on that device. We have no server that receives it, no account that holds it, and no way to read it. The sections below answer each question these laws require a business to answer, and in most cases the answer is “none”, because the data never reaches us.

What consumer health data the app handles, and why

The app processes, on your own device only, the health information you choose to put into it:

  • lab and biomarker results, and the lab reports, scans and photos of documents you upload;
  • body-composition measurements (for example DEXA scans);
  • interventions you record — medications, supplements, and their doses and schedules;
  • daily metrics, check-ins, goals and notes;
  • profile details you choose to enter, such as a display name and sex.

Purpose: to organise and display your own health record for you. The app does not use this information for advertising, profiling, analytics or any purpose of ours, and Geekdojo never receives it.

Where the data comes from

Only from you:

  • what you type into the app;
  • documents you upload, scan or photograph, and values you accept after reviewing an extraction from them;
  • records you import from a file you choose, or, on Windows, through an AI assistant you connect yourself.

We obtain no health data about you from any other source.

Consumer health data we share

None. Geekdojo does not share, sell or disclose consumer health data to anyone, including affiliates. We have none to share.

Transmissions you direct

Two features send information from your device to a company other than us. Both happen only when you choose to use them, under your own account with that company, and we receive nothing from either:

When you…What is sentTo whom
Extract a document you uploadedThat document, its filename and label, and the names of the measurements the app knowsThe AI provider you selected: Anthropic or OpenAI
Connect your own AI assistant and let it read your record (Windows only)Whatever the assistant reads, as part of your conversation with itThat assistant’s provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI)

These are disclosures you make to a provider you chose, using an API key or account you hold. Their handling of your data is governed by their terms and privacy policies. The general Privacy Policy lists exactly what each one sends.

Apple’s App Store privacy label for the app lists Health, Name, and Photos or Videos as collected, because of the first row: the provider you choose may keep a document you send it for a period under its terms. Buying the app or starting its trial is done through the store you got it from, Apple’s App Store or the Microsoft Store; those transactions, and the app’s checks with the store of what you have bought, carry no health data.

The website

hsys.me does not collect consumer health data. It counts page views with GoatCounter, which stores nothing in your browser, does not store your IP address, and does not track you over time or across other websites or online services. No third party is permitted to collect information about you across sites through hsys.me.

Your rights

Under state consumer health data laws you have the right to:

  • confirm whether a business is collecting, sharing or selling your consumer health data, and to access that data;
  • obtain a list of the third parties and affiliates with whom it has been shared or sold, and how to contact them;
  • withdraw consent to its collection or sharing;
  • have it deleted.

How these apply here. Because Geekdojo holds none of your consumer health data, we will answer any request by confirming that, in writing. You can exercise every one of these rights directly in the app, without contacting us:

  • Access: Settings → “Export everything” gives you your whole record in readable form. On iPhone, iPad and Mac the file is encrypted under a passphrase you choose, and opening it with that passphrase gives the same readable record.
  • Stop a transmission: remove your AI provider’s API key in Settings, or, on Windows, remove the access token that lets an assistant connect. Nothing is sent after that.
  • Delete: delete individual records in the app, or remove the app — uninstall it on Windows, or delete it from your iPhone or iPad — which permanently deletes the whole record from your device. On a Mac, see the Privacy Policy.
  • Third parties: the only recipients are the providers in Transmissions you direct, and only when you send to them.

To make a request of us:

  • Email: info@geekdojo.com, subject line “Health data request”
  • Telephone: +1 (888) 201-0085 (calls only; no text messages)

We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time we will tell you why within that period; an extension will not exceed a further 45 days. We do not charge for requests and will not treat you differently for making one.

Appeals. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or emailing info@geekdojo.com with the subject line “Health data appeal”. We will respond in writing within 45 days, explaining what we decided and why. If your appeal is denied you may contact your state’s Attorney General; the offices for the states whose laws this policy covers are listed below.
